As I look back to the summer of 2012, we visited many venues in the VA Beach area for Casey and Chris’ wedding but nothing seemed quite right. As we were leaving the area, one of the members of our party suggested stopping by the Lesner Inn to check on your availability. Even though there was a bigger event going on upstairs, no one in our event was disturbed by the sounds from upstairs...everyone knew (if they went into the lobby) that there was a big wedding event upstairs) but they were so impressed that in our room, we did not hear one peep!

"The Lesner Inn was my first choice for my reception venue because of the breathtaking location overlooking the water on the Bay. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to afford it at first, but the staff helped me stay within my budget and have a beautiful, elegant reception for 85 people. The staff assisted me in planning the little details and even helped me piece together a personalized menu for my wedding. They went above and beyond on the day of the wedding and were flexible with the timing of events. We were running a little behind schedule at first and the staff waited on standby until the right moment to bring out the food and cut the cake. My husband and I were also treated like royalty! We had a plate full of food on our table when we arrived and the staff made us a take-home bag with the leftovers so we could eat the food later when we had more time to enjoy it. My experience here was excellent. I got what I had envisioned and more! I would wholeheartedly recommend this site to anyone in the Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area. "Everything was perfect. We used the room upstairs for 150 people. It was comfortable and beautiful. There was plenty of room for the cake tables, a sweetheart table, a DJ booth, and 14 rounds of 11. The food was amazing. During our tasting, the staff, particularly Veronique, was helpful. All of our desires were addressed and performed. Everyone at Lesner was great to work with. For those who have not had a similar experience, it is important to know that they have done a bit of re-staffing. They got rid of one of the managers, who I worked with at first and she was awful, and got a new lady, who is amazing. The view is beautiful and everything ran smoothly." - The Owens |

"We picked this venue because we didn't want to have our reception in a typical ballroom setting. We had a beach wedding and wanted to continue the theme through the reception. The setting was beautiful overlooking the water. We chose the Waterside Deck for our location. I would recommend using this deck when the weather is a little cooler unless you like it hot. Our wedding was on June 5, 2011 and it was a little warm for dancing but we did it anyway. The food was reviewed very well by our attendees. The wait staff was very attentive. Overall I am very pleased with our selection of this venue."
