History
For years, the site of Lesner Inn was a seafood restaurant with a signature two-story fish tank many Virginia Beach
natives remember as Henry’s. When renovations were made to the building, the new owners incorporated a fresh
sense of elegance and sophistication. A grand staircase was built to replace the fish tank in the Inn’s foyer
and the second story was reconstructed to serve as one stunning floor to hold large parties of up to 400 people.
With these improvements, a new name was needed. Located just past the Lesner Bridge on Shore Drive, the Lesner Inn was
the perfect choice for a name. In December 2004, the building opened its doors for the first time as Lesner Inn.
